Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College of Business & Entrepreneurship have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager / Senior Manager, based in King Abdullah Economic City, which is located100km North of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will primarily manage and leads the institutional public relation efforts, provides administrative support, assists where needed with college communication operations and coordination of activities as required. Also, will be responsible for all content development (editorial), content management and copyrighting requirements for external and internal communication, for both digital and offline channels. S/he should work independently on special projects in alignment with the head of marketing according to agreed timelines and special requests. Additionally, this position will support where required the college’s main services: MarCom & student recruitment efforts of the graduate, undergraduate and Executive education functions.
The Ideal candidate must have 7+ years’ experience in a communication related post for a communication agency, PR agency or private corporation, (having worked within higher education is preferred but not mandatory).
Main Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the Head of Marketing in setting the marketing annual plan and strategy of the department.
- Manage and lead implementation all tactical communication campaigns throughout the year.
- Manage and coordinate with 3rd party agencies and vendor that serve the communication and public relation requirements of the college.
- Interface and coordinate where needed with internal customers (different offices) to provide content development services.
- Cultivate and grow strong relationships with media partners and outlets.
- Manage all editorial and content development efforts for the college such as creating content for the website, brochures, articles, press releases, email campaigns, among other items, in both Arabic and English.
- Content and copy writing responsibilities where needed in both Arabic and English.
- Manage the CRM data segmentation, cleaning & update, develop the relative content of each target segment.
- Analyze and monitor marketing campaigns and recommend creative solutions and opportunities of improvement to deliver students recruitment’ target as well as other line of businesses’ targets.
- Work closely with the advertising agency, media buying agencies, and the PR agency to develop strategies and campaigns to increase the college’s brand awareness.
- Proofreading of any content that will be used in any of our communication channels or brand assets, either for internal and external use (in both English and Arabic)
- Be the content champion for the college, managing the content repository and assuring the highest quality of all content that is produced for the public (external) and internal stakeholders
- Manage the development of the editorial content calendar and ensure it is updated as required.
- Handle media relation activities when needed.
- Develop content that contributes to social media accounts to maximize the positive exposure of the college such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
- Support in the implementation and planning for different events, especially related to event coverage and media relations.
- Preparation of presentations and reports as required by the Head of Marketing
- Manage with the support of the subordinates the college events that encompasses: student’s recruitment events, orientation, graduation, external visits, and other internal and external events.
- Other support and administrative services for the marketing and communication office
Skills
- Marketing, communication, and public relations experience required.
- Proven organization, communication, team/project management skills, attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands.
- Excellent copy writing and proof-reading skills.
- Experience/exposure to the content development and management demands of a college.
- Ability to effectively work with internal and external stakeholders (strong communication, negotiation and relationship building skills required).
- Bi-lingual (English and Arabic) is required.
- Must know and understand features of Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Knowing how to use CRM systems, such as Constant contact and HubSpot (highly preferable but not mandatory).
- Experience managing outside agencies and vendors.
- Work well cross-functionally in a team environment.
