Marketing Manager- Executive & Continuing Education

Job Description

MBSC has an exciting opportunity for Marketing Manager based in King Abdullah Economic City which is located 100km North of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a key role in the awareness, success and identity of Executive & Continuing Education (ECED) function, and will be responsible to drive the execution of marketing and sales strategy. The person will be responsible for accessing corporate clients, identifying needs, initiating leads, managing communications, developing brand awareness and closing the deals under the supervision of the Vice-Dean-ECED.

The ideal candidate must have 8+ years of executive education, management development or related experience preferred or Business Development/Marketing/Sales related post for a college or university or Executive Development Institute in Saudi Arabia or the MENA region.

Main Responsibilities:

• Generation of external interest (and securing clients) in portfolio of programs to be offered

• Assessment of existing and potential business and public sector/government organizations for capacity building initiatives and securing clients

• Manages outbound sales activities and assists in implementing marketing and sales plans for customized and open enrollment programs.

• Initiates contact with targeted companies and executives, articulates the capabilities of MBSC’s Executive and Continuing Education and solicits referrals from past participants

• Prepares and edits program portfolio marketing materials.

• Plans and coordinates implementation of marketing activities as well as maintains and evaluates the effectiveness of marketing mailing lists.

• Maintains Salesforce up-to-date.

• Works as a liaison between the clients and the faculty members to ensure that the needs, requirements and objectives of the stakeholders are met in line with the strategy and overall objectives of ECED.

• Actively participates in the design and development of the ECED’s website and online portal to ensure appropriate liaison with ‘outsourcing agency’ for digital branding and marketing in consultation with the Program Manager

• Coordinates effectively with faculty members teaching on ECED programs to identify PR opportunities that raise the profile of within the region.

• Works closely with the Dean-ExecEd in outreach, PR and networking activities.

• Helps plan and execute special events targeted at our client base, past participants and potential clients.

• Assists and participates in other activities as required.

Skills

• Outstanding written, oral, and interpersonal skills required. Fluency in Arabic preferred.

• Ability to interact successfully with diverse constituencies and the ability to shift responsibilities as needed based on market fluctuations and departmental needs is required.

• Proven organization, communication, team/project management skills, the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands, excellent word, copy writing and proof reading skills.

• Proven ability to interface with and engage senior level clients, to include translating their organization’s needs into executable deliverables required.

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with multiple tasks and strong customer service and profit-driven goals required.

• Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines consistently required.

• Experience of fact finding, conducting market analysis and dealing with decision makers in commercial and government sectors. A demonstrable capability of building, maintaining and using Social Capital in the local culture and environment
