MBSC has an exciting opportunity for Business Development Manager/ Sales based in King Abdullah Economic City which is located100km North of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will work closely with the Vice-Dean of Executive and Continuing Education, and the ECED team, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads and new contacts and through close collaboration successfully converting these into new business. While responsible for Business Development for both Custom and Open Program, the role entails, actively generating networking activities, communicating with prospective participants and supporting and coordinating with the Program Directors accordingly through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Working in collaboration with the Dean of Executive and Continuing Education and the ECED team:
• Identify and agree business targets, matching these to key areas of expertise and research within the College
• Generate new leads and establish and build relationships with target clients.
• Identify, call, meet with, and develop relationships with targeted companies, alumni contacts, government agencies, and other sources as appropriate to identify opportunities for executive and continuing education
• Plan, conduct, and follow-up on joint client calls with faculty or other staff to represent MBSC
• Actively solicit RFPs and/or respond to unsolicited RFPs by developing proposals that accurately represent MBSC’s capabilities and meet the needs of the requesting organization
• Work with the Program Directors to prepare proposals, program outlines and/or presentations as required to support the generation of new business
• Develop a good understanding of the purpose and content of programs offered, having the ability to answer queries confidently and to detail, and question prospective participants about their needs
• Manage the development of existing relationships and new contacts, both on telephone and in person.
• Build networks with corporate partners and business clients in support of business growth.
• Oversee pricing/contracts to budget for program delivery.
• Oversee the development of marketing materials as required
• Work with the wider Executive Development team to support the conversion of sales activity through to delivery
• Monitor client feedback and trends including competitor analysis
• Report regularly on new business activity, pipeline and revenue generation.
